A site you can fill in yourself, that loads fast, and that will not fall apart the next time a plugin updates.
What I actually do
I take a design or an existing site and turn it into a working tool on WordPress: a multi-page site, a service site, a corporate site, a catalogue without online checkout.
I do not assemble it from a marketplace template, and I do not drag a page builder into places where it is not needed. The theme is written for the specific project, so it carries no third-party code you will never use.
What the work includes
- A custom theme built to your design, with or without a builder if that genuinely fits better
- Responsive layout for phones, tablets and large screens
- An admin panel where it is obvious what to click: fields named in plain language, not Custom Field 3
- Editable blocks so you can assemble new pages from ready-made sections yourself
- Baseline SEO: correct headings, metadata, structured data, sitemap, robots.txt
- Speed: optimised images, caching, no unnecessary requests
- Forms delivering wherever suits you: email, Telegram, CRM
- Multiple languages if you need them
How the work runs
- Scoping. What kind of site, who will use it, what has to be editable, where enquiries should go.
- Estimate. Timeline and cost before the work starts, not along the way.
- Development on a staging environment, with progress shown as it goes.
- Content and checks: responsiveness, forms, speed, metadata.
- Launch and support afterwards.
What else I take on
Beyond building from scratch: changes to existing sites, fixing someone else's code, moving a site to another host or domain, connecting payments and shipping, and integrations with third-party services.
